Arlene I. Radke, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021.
Arlene was born to the late Erich and Lydia Zastrow on April 13, 1933. She married John Radke on June 21, 1952. They celebrated 66 years together.
Arlene was a dairy and ginseng farmer her entire life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Sunday drives, eating out, and playing cards.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John; son-in-law, Merlin Radke; and grandson, Dillon Radke.
Arlene is survived by her two daughters, Nancy (Merlin) Radke and Carol (Brian) Olshanski; sister, Gladys (LeRoy) Holz; brother, Ellsworth (Susanne) Zastrow; grandchildren, Anne Radke, Eldon Kurth, Nichole (Kendall) Digman, Amber (Rafael) Tapia; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Radke, Nicholas Dreager, Wyatt, Declyn, Sawyer, and Lyra Digman, Kaydence Radke, EmmaLeigh and Alexander Tapia, and Luke Radke; great-great-grandchildren, Lillie and Jaydon Radke; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church – Stettin, 232220 N. 120th Ave., Wausau. Rev. Tryphine Olson Schruba will officiate. The service will be streamed live on her obituary page at www.helke.com and made available for future viewing. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Stettin Christian Cemetery.
