Rudolph Baumann

Rudolph Baumann, 78, of Wausau passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Mt. View Care Center.
He was born November 4, 1934 in the town of Texas to the late Rudolph and Emma (Lemke) Baumann. Rudolph was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. On August 20, 1960 he married Mary Clare Bartosch at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Rudolph was a stone cutter at Anderson Brothers and Lake Wausau quarries. After retiring, he worked as a custodian at the Wausau School Forest. In his younger years, Rudolph was a snowmobiler, motorcycle enthusiast and avid golfer. He was a Packer fan and enjoyed his travels with Mary Clare to Hawaii, Florida, and Branson, MO.
Survivors include his children, Jeffrey (Gloria) Baumann, Therese (Mark) Graefe, Kurt Baumann all of Weston, Kevin (Dawn) Baumann of Oak Creek, eight grandchildren, two brothers, Theodore (Betty) Baumann of Wausau, Kenneth (Gay) Baumann of Wausau, three sisters, Louise Thompson of Waukesha, Patricia (Richard) Rostal of Eden Prairie, MN, Jean (Richard) Binner of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Clare, two sisters, Margaret and Evelyn and three brothers, Dan, Victor, and Harold.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Chris Sansom will officiate. Entombment will be in Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
