Rosalie M. Lineweaver, 92, of Mosinee, was sent to her eternal home on June 7, 2025.
Rosalie was born June 6, 1933, in Milwaukee, to the late Joseph Coushman and Irene (Zweck) Balz. A strong-willed and independent woman, Rosalie dedicated her life to her family and her work at Wausau Hospital. Known for her incredible work ethic and nurturing spirit, she touched the lives of many with her unwavering faith as a devoted member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Rosalie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid camper and traveler, exploring breathtaking destinations such as the Grand Canyon and Panama, along with memorable cruises to Alaska and Mexico. In her younger years, she traveled the world and lived in places such as Texas, France, and Germany. Later in life, she cherished taking her grandchildren to the Wisconsin Dells, creating lasting memories riding the ducks together and visiting Disney in Florida. A talented knitter, Rosalie lovingly crafted blankets for her family and generously donated them to charity, sharing her warmth and kindness with all. When asking family to help her with something, she would give a "Grandma Rose hint" and those who knew her, know exactly what that means. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind her four children: Shirene (Eric) Montgomery, Denise McQuiston, Sharon (Ed Sedlacek) Bickford, and Dennis (Kelly) McQuiston. She is further survived by eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and sons-in-law, Dennis Dunn and Edward Bickford.
A celebration of Rosalie's life will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1104 S 9th Avenue, Wausau, Wisconsin. Fr. Samuel Martin will officiate.
