Robert "Bob" Ronald Hoff

Robert 'Bob' Ronald Hoff of Wausau, age 82, went to his heavenly home on June 16, 2026, at his home. He was born February 15, 1944, in the town of Berlin, to the late William and Dorothy (Oelke) Hoff. He was united in marriage to LouAnn D. Seehafer at St. Johns Lutheran Church, in the town of Rib Falls, WI, on July 3, 1965.

Bob worked hard to provide a good life for his family, not only having a full-time job but growing ginseng, helping maintain his in-laws farm, all while building his and LouAnns' dream home. Bob was a social man, and was well known in the neighborhood for being willing and eager to talk to anyone. No one stayed a stranger for long around Bob. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his grandsons, Bobby and Joe.

Bob is survived by his children Lynda (Victor) Smith of Yelm, WA; Robin (Deb) Hoff of Marathon, WI; and Renea (Zachary) Kania of Marathon, WI; Grandchildren Eric Smith, Kytaira (Casey) Sowles, Robert A. Hoff, and Joseph Kania; step-grandchildren Thomas (Nicole) Cimino, Jr., Don Cimino, and Amanda (Tim) Schmidt; Step-Great-Grandchildren Amelia Cimino; Layla and Carter Schmidt; and Connor and Kenley Cimino; He is also survived by many brothers and sisters, as well as nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded death by his parents, his beloved wife LouAnn; brothers Donald Hoff and James Hoff; and sisters Elaine Schade and Pearl Voigt.

A memorial service will be held at St. John Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5304 North 44th Avenue, Wausau WI 54401, (Village of Maine), on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Reverend Maggie Westaby will officiate. A visitation will be held at church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
