Randy Ray Sillars

August 8, 1956 — November 22, 2025

Mosinee

Randy Ray Sillars passed away peacefully at Aspirus Hospice House on November 22, 2025, at the age of 69, fittingly on opening day of hunting, which for many years he considered to be his favorite “holiday”. Born on August 8, 1956, Randy spent his life in the greater Wausau community, in which he called home.

Randy spent most of his career at Wausau Supply Company, and finished it out at G3 Industries. Randy had a natural talent for working on vehicles and home projects. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in every project he undertook, earning the respect and admiration of his family, friends, and colleagues. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golfing and bowling, and made many friends along the way.

In addition to his professional achievements, Randy was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished the moments spent with his family, always finding joy in the simplest of gatherings.

Randy leaves behind his son, Jason (Candice) Sillars; daughter, Crystal (Craig) Sabatke; brother, Gary (Dana) Sillars, and sister, Vicki (Scot) Steppert; grandchildren Hunter (Teila), Breyden (Shellby), Bryce, Kendra, and Isaac; and one great-granddaughter, Harper, who will fondly remember their time together. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Arlene Sillars and his brother, Wayne.

The family would like to send a huge thank you to the wonderful, caring staff at Aspirus Hospice House and Aspirus at Home services. You are truly appreciated.

Per his wishes, no services will be held. Condolences can be mailed to Crystal Sabatke, 158472 McIntosh Street, Wausau, WI 54403
