Marie Kuzmik

Marie Kuzmik, age 98, of Mosinee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 25, 1926, in Boyceville, Wisconsin, Marie lived a life full of hard work, resilience, and love. As a devoted farm hand, she dedicated her life to the agriculture industry, embodying the spirit of hard work and commitment that defined her generation.

Marie was a devoted fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers, and especially cherished attending games at Miller Park with her beloved granddaughter, Niki. A lifelong baseball enthusiast, she once played first base and maintained a deep love for the game throughout her life.

Marie found great joy in the simple pleasures - sewing, gardening, and working on puzzles. She had a playful spirit, often trying her luck with scratch-offs and enjoying trips to the casino with her daughters. A true coffee lover, she never passed up the comfort of a good cup shared in good company. Marie was a woman of God and a devoted life long member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church

Marie is survived by twin daughters June Thompson and Judy Marcellis and sons Dixon (Diana Place) and Douglas (Debbie) Kuzmik. She is further survived by grandchildren Niki, Jafia, Jenna, Travis, Tami, Michelle, Lisa, Anna, Casey, Donny, Rachel and Josh; 21 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and brother Ed Korbel. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Korbel, daughters Joy Wodjac and Joanne Storberg; brothers George, John and Frank; and sister Bessie. She cherished her family above all else, and her legacy of love and nurturing will continue to inspire her children and their families.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 6205 Alderson St., Weston. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Friday.
