Lorraine Schenzel

Lorraine Schenzel, 78, Wausau , died Sunday, August 10, 2008 , at Renaissance Weston.

Lorraine was born July 9, 1930 in Wausau to the late Walter Sr. and Ruth (Edler) Wiederhoeft. On April 26, 1946 in Wausau she married Jack Arnold Schenzel. To this union were born two children, Barbara and Jack. Lorraine was a quiet and loving mother. There were many family trips up north where Lorraine enjoyed fishing. Lorraine was also known for the handcrafted Christmas ornaments that she made.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Jack and her brothers Eugene, Arleigh, and Wilfred.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Joseph) Redding of Abbotstown, PA; son, Jack Schenzel and special friend Kathy Inocelda of Wausau; sister, Beverly (Roger) Goetsch of Mosinee; brother, Walter (Joyce) Wiederhoeft of Wausau; grandchildren, Heather Redding, Joey Redding, Travis Schenzel, Mitchell Schenzel, Jack Schenzel III, and Christopher Schenzel; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Redding, Aidan Schenzel, and Micah Schenzel; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
