Lois Ann Schultz, age 82 of Wausau, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 30, 2026, at North Central Health Center - Mount View Care Center in Wausau.
She was born on May 21, 1943, in Wausau, a daughter of George and Irene (Frank) Schultz. She attended school at Trinity Lutheran and Wausau East High School. She worked for the Wausau Paper Mill for 37 years before her retirement in 1998. Lois was a lifelong resident of Wausau and she loved her family and friends. She enjoyed teaching a bible class for neighborhood children and was considered the "church auntie" to fellow members and their children whom she claimed as part of her family. She was a member of Gathered To The Name Of The Lord Jesus in Mosinee, Wisconsin. She traveled the U.S. and abroad taking family and friends on her adventures. She enjoyed having game day with family and hosting holidays.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Froemming; sister-in-law, Barbara Schultz, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Caroline Koehler and Barbara Jean Schultz; brother, Roger Schultz; brothers-in-law, James Koehler and Don Froemming; nephew, Thomas Koehler.
Funeral service will be held, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Helke Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 302 Spruce St., Wausau, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred to The Lord's Work at Bible Truth Publishers, PO Box 649, Addison, Illinois, 60101. Arrangements are with Helke Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
