He also enjoyed bowling, woodworking and helping with projects for his family. He was also a longtime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Wausau.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; their children Darren (Shereen) Siewert, Jennifer (Todd) Schueller, and Kurt (Erin Umlauft) Siewert; grandchildren Paige (John), Megan (Danny), David, Kayla (Collin), Kaylie, Addyson, Isla, Livvy, Maisie, Brynlee, Devon (Linda) and Rowan; and great-grandchildren Maiya, Arie and Franklin. He is further survived by his brother-inlaws Robert Smith and Frank Radigan; sisters-in-law Barbara Hartwig and Diane (Arlow Erickson) Smith; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Richard “Dick” Siewert and David Siewert.
