Frank Joseph Schuelke Jr.

Frank J. Schuelke Jr., age 76, of Wausau, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026,

Frank proudly served his community as a Major with the Wausau Emergency Police, volunteering for over 40 years with dedication and pride. He was known as someone who could fix just about anything and was always willing to help a friend with a project.

He had a lifelong love of tractors and machinery repair, enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on puzzles, attending fish fries, and never missed a chance for all-you-can-eat boneless wings. Frank valued time with family and friends and was happiest when lending a hand.

He is survived by his brothers, David, Albert (Peggy), Scott (Jackie), Edward (Janine), Thomas (Maria); nieces, nephews and many other family and friends, with special recognition to his best friends, Linda, Larry, Bob, Dewey, Steve, Jeff and Olivia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St, Wausau, WI 54401. Michael Juedes will preside. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to the time of service, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
