Ervin Arnold Boehm

Ervin Boehm, age 89, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 26, 2026.

Ervin was born in Edgar, WI on September 2, 1936 to John and Pauline (Meixner) Boehm, being the 4th of 6 children. Ervin married Clarice Langhoff of Merrill, Wisconsin on May 6, 1961.

He loved to fish and hunt with his sons, travel with his wife, attend his children's events and spend time with his extended family. He especially liked to spend time at the land and cabin, making firewood, tending to Christmas trees and doing field work. Ervin retired from Wausau Papers after 38 years.

He is survived by his wife and they were blessed with 4 children: Judy (Brian) Radke, Russ (Jeannine), Tim (Tracy), Jean (Scott) Dailey. In addition, Ervin has 9 grandchildren (James Dailey, Kailie Boehm, Steven Dailey, Louis Boehm, Kaitlyn Boehm, Ty Radke, Jack Boehm, Korey Boehm, and Timothy Dailey), 3 great-grandchildren (Easton Dailey, Claire Dailey and Landon Dailey) He is also survived by his brother Clarence (Mary Ann), sister in laws JoAnn Boehm and Shirley Borchardt, sister Loretta Stanton and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother in law Louis and Viola Langhoff, his son Russ, sisters Rose (Charles) Lang, Evelyn (John) Lewandowski, brother Lawrence Boehm, brother in laws Gary Stanton, Louis (Geraldine) Langhoff, LaVerne Borchardt, Sister in laws Margery (Bill) Klammer Buffington, Vernette (Milton) Kleinschmidt, Isabelle (Bob) Hoff, Jean (Lawrence) Buboltz, Marion (Dick) Simon, Florence (David) Langhoff.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church (700 West Bridge Street, Wausau WI 54401). Fr. Tom Lindner will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM until 11AM at the church. Burial will be at 2:30 PM at Snow Hill Cemetery.
