Elaine Trester

Elaine Trester, 79, of Wausau , died Wednesday September 9, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital , Memphis , Tenn.


Elaine was born December 11, 1929 in Aniwa to the late Edward and Esther (Oestrich) Chrudimsky. She married Alvin Trester on February 7, 1948 in Beach, ND. Alvin preceded her in death on July 13, 2004 . Elaine was a baker for Tornow Super Market. Elaine enjoyed quilting, embroidery, crosswords, cooking and baking, flower gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.



Elaine is survived by 4 daughters; Yvonne (Kenneth) Harvey of Loudon, TN. , Kathleen (Donald) Schult Sr. of Merrill, WI, Jeanne (Derrell) Lang of Roberts, WI, and Sharon (James) Thum of Byhalia, MS., 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 brothers; Earl (Pat Tallmadge) Chrudimsky of Wausau, WI , Herb ( Marion ) Chrudimsky of Wibaux , MT. , Frank (Pat) Chrudimsky of Appleton, WI, and Herman Chrudimsky of Antigo, WI, and 1 sister Fern ( Lyman) O’Neil of Aniwa, WI.



Besides her parents and husband, Elaine was preceded in death by two brothers; Floyd and Daniel.



Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday September 14, 2009 at The Trinity Lutheran Church on Stewart Ave. , Wausau . Officiating will be the Reverend Gary Schultz. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park . Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Helke Funeral home, Wausau , assisted the family with arrangements.
