Dawn Marie Rowe

August 8, 1964 — February 8, 2024

Oconomowoc

Dawn Marie Marzynski was born on August 8, 1964 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Joseph (Joe) and Sharon Marzynski.  She went to Wausau West High School and received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She has two daughters, Madie and Hannah Rowe, who she was so proud of.

While in school, Dawn played volleyball and never lost her passion for it.  While her girls were at St. Joan of Arc Parish School, Dawn coached the girls’ volleyball team.  Dawn also was volunteer extraordinaire.  At St. Joan of Arc, Dawn donated hundreds and hundreds of hours organizing school events, fundraising, and whatever else was needed. “No” was not a word she had in her vocabulary when it came to helping.

Dawn loved everything Packers and was an avid sports fan. Sunday “funday” was one of her favorites during football season where she tried never to miss a game. She had a full and fashionable Packer’s and Badger’s wardrobe complete with matching accessories. On Wisconsin!

Dawn’s most recent employment was at Hupy and Abraham, S.C. where she was a litigation paralegal. She enjoyed the challenges of the job and the people she worked with.

Dawn loved the lake and was most at home at her family cottage on Lake Alexander or at her home on Okauchee Lake. Going for a pontoon ride, being in a kayak, or going for a cruise in “Big Red” was her happy place.  She tried to never miss a “good” concert and her favorite, of course, was Aerosmith. She was also a loving “dog mom” to the family’s yellow labs (Chuck and Mia) over the years and to many friend’s pets as well.

Dawn has a million friends and never missed an opportunity to post something that would make them laugh, volunteer to drive you to a doctor appointment, bring over food, run an errand for you, stop by to say hi, or provide anything else that you didn’t know you needed, but found incredibly helpful. She was a thoughtful gift-giver and had a knack for home decorating. She had a great smile, a sparkle in her eye, and was always up for fun and a good laugh. She brought energy and joy to many and was a faithful, steadfast friend.

Dawn was predeceased by her grandparents and her beloved Dad, Joseph Marzynski. She is survived by her mother, Sharon (Sauter) Marzynski, daughters Madie and Hannah Rowe, and their dad, Jerry Rowe, and other family in Wisconsin and Montana.

A special thanks to Dawn’s family and friends for all of their love and support during this difficult time.
