Caroline Esther Baumann, 92, of Wausau, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation, Wausau.
She was born November 16, 1917, the daughter of the late Adolph and Rose (Plautz) Edelburg, in the town of Texas, WI. On September 28, 1940, she was united in marriage to Leslie A. Baumann.
She is survived by her son, Charles Baumann, Wausau; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 foster great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Carol) Edelburg, Wausau; and sister, Doris (Franklin) Borchardt, Wausau.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leslie, in 1993; and 2 brothers, Roy and Myron.
A funeral service will be held at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wausau, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31st. The Reverend Richard Russow will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., at the church, on Saturday.
