Carla Bennett-Nowak, 49, of Wausau died Monday, February 14, 2011 at UW Hospital, Madison.
Carla was a D.C. Everest High School graduate. Carla was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 years and she enjoyed caring and helping others. Carla will always be remembered for her cheerful personality. She loved animals especially her dogs.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Nowak of Wausau, parents, Calvin and Gerri (Fletcher) Bennett of Wausau, five step sons, Robert (Amy) Nowak of Hurley, Tim (Kim) Nowak of Merrill, Brian (Rachel) Nowak of River Falls, Jeremiah Nowak of Antigo, Lance Nowak of Merrill, five step grandchildren, Jacob, Jayda, Elizabeth, TJ, Braydon, three brothers, Kyle (Trisha) Bennett of Kronenwetter, Kurt (Lynn) Bennett of Wausau, Kevin Bennett of Wausau and four nephews, Luke, Trevar, Matthew and Mitchell Bennett.
A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2011 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau.
