Calvan C. Miller

Calvan Miller, age 85, passed away on March 30, 2024. 

 Calvan was born in Chippewa Falls, WI to Carl Miller and Dellie Miller. Calvan married Rita Margaret Miller of Weston, Wisconsin on September 2, 1961 in Chippewa Falls. Calvan enjoyed fishing up north with his brother-in-law Eugene Goettl. He loved his grandchildren to no end and lived to see his great-grandchildren grow up. Calvan passed the time away cleaning the garage and listing to music for hours. When he could Calvan would spend alot of time outside. He enjoyed going to church with his wife and will be missed by all that knew him. 

Calvan is survived by his wife Rita Miller of Weston, (4) Children: Kevin (Justine) Miller of Illinois, Theresa Maves of Amherst, Kay (Steve) Homer of Eleva, and Jodie (Jeff Flatter) Miller of Wausau.  (7) Grandchildren and (13) Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, (3)Brothers and (2)Sisters. 

 Memorial service will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 at Helke Funeral Home (302 Spruce Street Wausau WI 54401) at 11:00 AM.  Deacon Peter Burek will officiate.  Visitation will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 from 9:00 am until the hour of service at Helke Funeral Home.  Entombment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park.
