Calista Marie Wendt

Calista Marie Wendt was born February 24, 1948, and passed away June 1, 2025, at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

Calista was born in Wausau to the late Clifford and Mary Lucille (Carpenter) Little. Calista (Tisty) was united in marriage to Lyle E. Wendt on November 5, 1966.

She leaves behind daughter, Melissa (Daniel) Blacklock; grandson, Zachary Blacklock; son, Michael (Heather) Wendt; brother, Jerry (Sally) Dunbar and twin sister Christine (Tina) Petroski; as well as many extended family and friends.

A remembrance event will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. in the small chapel at First United Methodist Church, 903 Third Street, Wausau.
