Arlene A. Bittner

Arlene A. Bittner, 83, of Wausau, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on May 20, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born September 13, 1941, in La Crosse, to parents Conrad and Lavine Wagner. She was a 1959 graduate from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. Once she resided in Wausau, she worked at Kreske's, Passport, Red Owl, and Featherstone Cabinerty & Design- from where she retired in 2006. Arlene loved baking for others, gardening, and being with family. She was a faithful member of Saint Andrew Lutheran Church. Arlene loved her family more than anything and never missed her kids and grandkids events. She married Tom Bittner on June 1, 1985, in Wausau. They enjoyed day trips around Wisconsin, fishing, biking, walking and spending time outdoors. Arlene will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we know she is now at peace in God's hands.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Tom Bittner; children, Lori (Pete) Erdman, Butch (Carol) Boll, Jamie (Meredith) Boll, and Leann (Kraig) Kauth; grandkids, Alison (Ben) Johnson, Haylee (Kory) Kaiser, Cody Bentz, Jacob Boll, Ashley (Michael) Webb, Josh Boll, Sam Boll, and Danny Boll; great-grandkids, Parker Johnson, Skylar Johnson, Aspen Bentz, and Keelan Webb; and special cousin, Glendolan Rasmussen.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Francis, Martha, Jerry, Stanley and Stuart; great-grandson, Beau Kaiser.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church, 150202 County Road NN, Wausau. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Gary Froseth will officiate. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Park.
