Reginald “Reggie” G. Allar of Schofield passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in the comfort of the arms of his family. Reggie was born on May 26, 1946 in Wausau to the late Jacob and LaVerne (Rhyner) Allar. He attended Newman High School.
A true people person, Reggie spent over 30 years as a car salesperson and manager. He began his sales career with Ron Brown AMC Jeep and later worked for Fairway Motors, Duane Riley Motors and Rosemurgy Motors. In 2006, Reggie retired as Sales Manager for Fred Mueller Motors.
Reggie had a passion for photography and blues music. He marked his calendar each year for the Big Bull Falls Blues Fest and Blues Café. When he wasn’t rockin it to the blues, Reggie spent time relaxing at the camper, watching the Packers, Brewers and Nascar.
Survivors include his spouse, Jamie of Schofield, three children, Andrew (Veronica) Allar of Oak Creek, Anne-Marie (Geoff) George of Minneapolis, Elyse Allar of Neenah, his beloved granddaughter, Alyssa George, three brothers, Dennis Allar of Sherwood, Gregory (Deborah) Allar of Wausau, Mark (Julie) Allar of Wausau, sister, Jacqueline Scheffler of Madison and sister-in-law, Mary Allar of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald.
