Marie took pride in sewing clothing for her children, gardening, loved being outdoors, sitting in her porch swing, cooking meals from scratch and making sure her cinnamon rolls were ready for the deer hunters in the family. Marie especially loved her grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren.
She was born November 7, 1928 in Wausau to the late Martin and Alma (Wiederhoeft) Gebhard. On September 28, 1946 Marie married Vernon Pagel.
