John Rodemeier was born June 14, 1952 in the town of Wausau to the late Benedict and Jane (Schilling) Rodemeier. On September 30, 1972 he was united in marriage to Christine Kratwell. Throughout their unity they were blessed with two daughters and 43 years of memories.
John lived his 60 years to the fullest. He enjoyed many different things in his life, to name a few, hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, and riding his Harley. Friends and family were a large part of his life and he was the type of person everyone wanted to be around. He will be missed greatly by all of the lives that he has touched in those years.
On August 3rd, 2012 John Mark Rodemeier died under the care of Aspirus Palliative Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
John will lovingly be remembered by his spouse, Christine Rodemeier, his two daughters, Kate (Joe) Thompson, Jane (Chad) Schloesser and two grandchildren, Josephine Thompson and Taylor Schloesser.
A celebration of John's life will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Wausau. Father Norman Boneck will officiate.
