Todd Hintze

July 5, 2012 — June 7, 2012

Todd Edward Hintze "Todder", 46, Wausau, died June 7, 2012, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born in Wausau on July 5, 1965, to Gerald and Vera (Johnson) Hintze. Todd grew up in Wausau with his three siblings. Todd enjoyed doing artwork, he liked to wood burn, draw, put together model cars, and color. He liked to cook and watch cooking shows to get tips on how to do it better. Todd enjoyed salmon fishing, his favorite place to fish was in Kewaunee, and he always said he felt at peace there. He also liked to go camping and be outdoors. Spending time with his nieces and nephews was very important to him. Todd never had kids of his own, so he made sure to make an everlasting impression on his nieces and nephews; they meant the world to him.

Todd will be sadly missed by his father, Gerald Hintze, Schofield; one sister, Laura Rothmeyer ( Mike Kelly), Wausau; two brothers, Ron Hintze (family Melissa Moser), Weston, and Brian Hintze, of Wausau nieces and nephews, Jason, Bethany, Tiffany, Breanna, Rose, Gerald, Alden, Dallas; His caretakers, Paul Ackerman, and Linda Thorson; his best friend, Thomas Engles; his aunts, uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Johnson.

A memorial service will be held 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wausau. Reverend Phil Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00a.m. until the time of service at the church. You may sign our family guestbook at helke.com.
