Robert Engebrecht

Robert Max Engebrecht, 79, Wausau, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his home under the care of Interim Hospice and Palliative Care.

Robert was born July 6, 1934 in Farmington, Jefferson County, WI to the late Edwin and Selma (Hess) Engebrecht. He married Lillian Zahrt on June 25, 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Robert worked as a carpenter for Wausau Homes for many years. He courageously fought against the effects of Parkinson's disease for the past 21 years.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lillian; sons, David (Ann) and Mark Engebrecht; son-in-law, Mike Lambrecht; grandchildren, David (Tia) Engebrecht Jr. and Gracie Engebrecht; great-grandchildren, Jacob Feehrer, Alashia Feehrer, Sophie Kell, Robert Engebrecht; step-great-granddaughter, Elisia Kell; brothers, Gerald (Ellen), Norman (Cathy), George (Char) and Charles (Brenda) Engebrecht; sisters, Margie (John) Imhoff and Anna (Dave) Proutz; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Lambrecht; granddaughter, Lorie Kell and brother, Arthur Engebrecht.

Services will be 11:00 AM on Monday, August 5th at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Ted Gulhaugen will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services on Monday at the church. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Town of Texas.
