Milton Kreager

Milton "Spike or Sharky" Kreager, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. He was born April 6, 1926 to the late Ernest and Jessie Kreager in the Town of Hewitt.

On July 19, 1947 he married Helen Hempfer in Hogarty.

Milton is survived by his son, Roger (Gloria) Kreager; daughter, Janice (Roger) Oehlke; and daughter-in-law, Joyce (Rick) Koplitz. Grandchildren: Wendy Kreager, Vickie (John) Surprise, Scott (Kelly) Kreager, Wayde(Dawn) Kreager, Keith (Julianne) Kreager, Ryan (Julie) Kreager, Karen (John) Wendt and Chuck Oehlke. Great-Grandchildren: Kate, Chayse, Conner, BreAnn, ShyAnn, Micayla, Alishya "A.J.", Maverick and Landon. Step-Grandchildren: Kory, Austin and Peyton. He is also survived by siblings: Charles (Carol) Kreager, Tom Kreager and Gretchen Nienow; sister-in-law, Margaret Hempfer and special friend, Ginny Olson. Milton was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; sons, DuWayne and Dennis; great-grandson, Dawson; siblings, John, George and Ruth.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 20, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church – LCMS (7505 North 33rd Street, Wausau). Reverend Scott Holoubek will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
