Mae Coerper

Mae Coerper, 94, of Wausau , died Saturday September 12, 2009 at Mount View Care Center under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.


Mae was born December 10, 1914 in Wausau to the late Carl and Martha (Krueger) Prahl. She married Rueben Coerper on June 21, 1947 in Wausau . Rueben preceded her in death on March 31, 1985 .


Survivors include her son Larry (Rose Schreiber) Coerper of Wausau, one grandson Brett, one sister-in-law Elsie Wilke and several nieces, nephews and friends.


Mae was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Ruth, Irene and Evelyn, and one brother Henry.


Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday September 15, 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church , Wausau . The Reverend Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park . Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Helke Funeral Home, Wausau assisted the family with arrangements.
