Lorraine M. Buelow, 84, of Rothschild went to be with her Lord on

She was born
March 14, 1924
in
Portage
County
to the late Bernard and Mathilda (Discher) Shomberg.
On
February 10, 1951
Lorraine
married Lester Buelow in
Stevens Point
.
They were long time residents of Rothschild raising their two children, Calvin and Debbie.
Lorraine
had been employed with the
D.C.
Everest
School District
in the food service department before retiring. Her faith in God was very important to her regularly worshiping at
Mt.
Calvary
Lutheran
Church
, Rothschild.
Lorraine
took great comfort in the loving care she gave her family.
She was a wonderful cook and loved baking goodies for them.
Her hobbies included reading, canning her own vegetables from her garden, as well as listening and dancing to Polka music.
Survivors include her son Calvin (Jacci) Buelow of Mosinee, her daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Rick of Weston, four grandchildren, Christopher and Daniel Buelow, Courtney (Chad) Hoeppner, Lance Rick, one great granddaughter, Cambrie Hoeppner, two sisters, Irene (Larry) Lange of
Florida and Theresa (Bennie) DeMerchant of Brazil, South America and three brothers, Bernie (Linda) Shomberg of
Denver, Co, Tony (Donna) Shomberg of Madison, and Joe (Friend-Priscilla) Shomberg of Winterhaven, Florida.
Lorraine
was preceded in death by Lester on
November 6, 1996
, and two brothers, John and Raymond Shomberg.
Funeral services will be
1:30 p.m.

Mount
Calvary
Lutheran

, Rothschild.
Reverend Richard Block will officiate.
Burial will be in the
Buelow
Cemetery
,
Junction City
.
Visitation will be from
4:00 p.m.
until
8:00 p.m.
, Tuesday at the Helke Funeral Home and at the church on Wednesday from
12:30 p.m.
until the time of services.
