Loretta Otto loved her family and enjoyed being apart of their lives.
She was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of
Trinity
Lutheran
Church
.
She was involved in the Ladies Club, 55+ Club, Bible Study and the Welfare Workers.
Loretta passed away at
Aspirus
Wausau
Hospital
on
Thursday, September 18, 2008
at the age of 93.
She was born on
August 10, 1915
in the town of
Wien
to the late Emil and Delma (Marquardt) Totsch.
On
September 28, 1935
Loretta married Lorenz Otto at
Trinity
Lutheran
Church
.
They raised their family in
Wausau
and for many years operated Tidee-Didee Diaper Service.
Some of Loretta hobbies included quilting, playing cards, making all types of ceramics and staying with family at the cottage Up North.
Survivors include Loretta’s children, Beverly (Richard) Holtz of Wausau, James (Sally) Otto of Auburn, CA, Karen (Cal) Seban of Menomonee Falls, Sandy Wimmer of Wausau and Thomas (Ginny) Otto of Stevens Point, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, one sister, Joyce Rauschl of Southerlin, Or., and special friends, Maren Thoreson, Ruth and Tina Ollhoff, and Gene and Linda Schmidt.
Loretta was preceded in death by Lorenz, two grandchildren, Jennifer Smith and Scott Seban, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Harold and Elmer Totsch, and a sister, Bernice Hoffmann.
A celebration of Loretta’s life will be
