Leopold Kunkel

Leopold August Kunkel, 80, of town of Frankfort, died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center.

Leopold was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Army. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include three sons, Keith (Cindy) of Sussex, Kevin (Dawn) of Rothschild, Kent (Julie) of Edgar, 8 grandchildren, two brothers, Edward of Spokane, WA, Donald (Ida Mae) of Stratford, and two sisters, Margie (Duane) Frahmann of Marshfield, and Hildegard Homann of Bloomer.

Services will be Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.at St. Johns Lutheran Church High Steeple, Edgar. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
