Kathleen Greenlee

Kathleen Julia Greenlee loved life. Kathy truly loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her warm personality and the many friends she made at Curves, The Red Hat Society, The "Polzer Pals" and greeting people at The Church of St. Anne.
At the age of 70, Kathy passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 21, 2012.
She was born February 3, 1942 in Fond du Lac to the late Edward and Bertha (Schmitz) Gerhartz. Kathy married Jim Greenlee on May 22, 1993 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. For over 30 years, Kathy was employed at Wausau Insurance Co. retiring in 2006 as a property claims adjuster. She enjoyed volunteering at fish frys at her church, reading and flower gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Jim of Wausau, five children, Lori (Scott) Eggebrecht of Wausau, Dan O'Hearn of Fond du Lac, Scott (Stephanie) O'Hearn of White Bear Lake, MN, Jill (Todd) Schroeder of Wausau and Shannon O'Hearn of Wausau, six grandchildren, Lindsey (Erich) Bender, Matt, Logan, Savannah, Payton, Amaya, two step children, Bob (Mary) Greenlee of Mechanicsville, VA, and Heather Greenlee of Wausau, one brother, Don (Mary) Gerhartz of Fond du Lac and her beloved dog, Hansie.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Church of St. Anne. Father Jeff Hennes will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home and again at the church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
