June Torbenson

June Torbenson, 64, of Schofield, died Tuesday January 12, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield under the Pallative Care Unit.





June was born February 8, 1945 in Milwaukee to the late Allen and Belma (Wrolstad) Torbenson. She had a passion for cooking, reading, music and movies. June was also an avid NASCAR fan.








Survivors include two daughters; Renee (Rod) Kimball of Oshkosh and Adrienne (Daryl) Kingery of Wisconsin Rapids, 7 grandchildren; Casie, Sam, Joey, Marty, Ben, Justin and Kayla, and one brother Don (Jan) Torbenson of Rhinelander.





June was preceded in death by her two sons; Richard and Allen, and her former husband


Gary “ Butch” Wanserski.





Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday January 18, 2010 at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.





June knew her death was imminent, and when asked if she was ready, she stated “yes, my boys are waiting for me”.
