Josephine Opichka

Josephine Opichka, 97, of Wausau passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Mt. View Care Center, Wausau.
She was born September 18, 1914 in Rothschild to the late Bernard and Mary (Bloczynski) Stencil. On October 7, 1933, Josephine married Orban Opichka in Wausau. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1990.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo (Harold) Williams, Germaine (Lyn) Heise all of Wausau, three sons, William (Joyce) of Wausau, Al (Lore) of Albuquerque, NM, Kenneth (Helen) of Wausau, 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Voigt, one grandson, three brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Reverend James Schaefer will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
