Jerome "Jerry" Libman, 82, former Wausau resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Green Bay.
He was born February 7, 1929 in Wausau to the late Jacob and Fannie (Petashnick) Libman. Jerry grew up in Wausau and was a 1947 graduate of Wausau East High School. He enjoyed talking with people, watching the Packers, and fishing. Jerry will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, quick wit, and sense of humor.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Lucille Shovers of Milwaukee, two nieces, Janice Gratch and Gloria Cramer and a nephew, Harvey Shovers. He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Libman.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Hebrew Cemetery, Wausau. Rabbi Dan Danson will officiate. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
