Jean Coleman

Jean Coleman was a loving wife, caring mother, grandma and G G mom. Her beauty showed in the way she took care of her husband, John, seven children and extended family and friends. Jean will be remembered for the gift of being able to truly listen and give advice without judging.
She was born August 31, 1939 in Appleton to the late Louis and Olive Schmidt. On September 5, 1959, Jean married John Coleman at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Appleton.
At the age of 72, Jean passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital.
Survivors include her seven children, John (Helen) Coleman III of Newport News, VA, Pete (Gina Erdman) Coleman of Birnamwood, Paul (Debi) Coleman of Marshfield, Andrew (Kim) Coleman of Wausau, Mary (Roger) Stankowski of Marathon, Anne (Dennis) Drow of Wausau, Rachel (Doug) Werner of Merrill, sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters and six brothers. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, John, parents and one brother, Richard.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at Helke Funeral Home, Wauasu. Deacon Bob Anderson will officiate.
