Florence Beilke

Florence Beilke, 78, of Wausau passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Mt. View Care Center.
She was born August 23, 1934 in Edgar to the late A. John and Theresa (Weister) Eberhardy. On October 14, 1953 Florence married Richard Beilke in Edgar and enjoyed their 52 years of marriage. Some of Florence's pastimes included flower gardening, reading, playing cards, and making crafts with plastic canvas. Florence was an active member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish where she was a member of the St. Catherine's Council. In her younger years, she not only volunteered at church but also at UCP and Northcentral Health Care Center. Before she retired, Florence waitressed at several Wausau restaurants and then worked several years at Marathon Electric.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Terry) Beilke of Wausau, Brian Beilke of Wausau, Linda (Dean) Woller of Merrill, ten grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one great grandchild and one due in August, five step great grandchildren, two sisters, Mary (Orville) Wetterau of Tomahawk, Delores Eberhardy of Sun City, Az, one brother, Arnold Eberhardy of Wausau and nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Richard on July 2, 2005, granddaughter, Angela Woller, two sisters, Lorraine Socha and Irene Haebig, one brother, Norbert Eberhardy and brothers-in-law, Bob Haebig, Leonard Socha, Donald Weister and sister-in-law, Carol Weister.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Wausau. Father David Rybicki will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau with a parish rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
