Elinore DeLisle

September 16, 1922 — June 9, 2012

Elinore DeLisle, 89, of Wausau passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born September 16, 1922 in Tomahawk to the late Joseph and Jennie (Nalborski) Miller. In May of 1948, Elinore married Clifford DeLisle at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wausau. They dairy farmed in Weston while raising their four children, David, Mary, Nancy and Jane. Elinore was a member of the Church of St. Anne, NAIM, and Royal Neighbors of America Chap. 561. She also volunteered for 19 years at the Aging and Disability Resource Center's Nutrition Program. In her free time, Elinore enjoyed playing Dominos, solving crossword puzzles, walking, gardening and reading.
Survivors include her three daughters, Mary (John) Kent of Schofield, Nancy (Ronald) Shain of Portage, Jane DeLisle of Wausau, three grandchildren, Amy Kent (Chris Stuart), Jennifer Kent (John Campagna) and Mark (Sarah) Shain. Elinore was preceded in death by Clifford, her son, David and four brothers, Louie, Albin, Robert and Fred Miller.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
