Donna Tress

Donna Tress, 58, of Wausau passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Rennes Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born September 5, 1954 in Schofield to the late Donald and Barbara (Shidell) Priebe. Donna was a graduate of D.C. Everest High School. Donna enjoyed life, always full of spirit. Nothing ever came close to how she felt about her children and grandchildren. They are what kept her going. Donna married Thomas Tress on June 19, 1979 and as one raised three children. Donna enjoyed working with her friends at Great Lakes Cheese, playing cards, bowling, being outdoors and especially taking care of her beagles.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Wausau, three children, Nicholas (Katie) Tress of Mosinee, Benjamin Tress of Mosinee, Beth Tress of Wausau, eight grandchildren, two brothers, Dean (Michelle) Priebe of New Hampshire, David (Kathryn) Priebe of Schofield, one sister, Darla (Keith) Schultz of Medford, one aunt, Margaret Shidell and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jay.
Funeral services will be Noon, Friday, May 10, 2013 at Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 703 Fleith St, Wausau. Reverend Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
