Dale Kremsreiter, 62, of Hazelhurst, died August 3, 2009 at home.
Dale was born December 7, 1946 in Wausau, to Conrad and Martha (Pietrowski) Kremsreiter. He married Nancy Buth on February 8, 1971 in Crystal Falls, Mich. Dale served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. during Viet Nam and was awarded 3 Purple Hearts. Dale was a man of vision. In addition to working at G.T.E. for 30 years, he was a zoo keeper, deer breeder, and a flea market vendor.
Survivors include his wife Nancy of Hazelhurst, one daughter Jamie Kremsreiter of Bloomington, Ill., two sons; Walker (Gretchen) Kremsreiter of Coleman, and Travis Kremsreiter of Marinette, three grandchildren; Miles James, Sebastian Elmer and Savannah Jude all of Coleman, his mother Martha Kremsreiter of Athens, one brother George (Beverly) Kremsreiter of Tomahawk, four sisters; Marilyn (Dean) Borofka of Rice Lake, Marlene (Donald) Guden of Marshfield, Carol (Jerome) Wagner of Athens and Linda (Greg) Osimitz of Merrill, and 3 sisters- in-law; Judi (Lester) Stankowski , Ellen (Timothy) Heil and Colleen (Patrick) Kell all of Wausau.
Dale was preceded in death by his father Conrad.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday August 7, 2009 at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Wuertzburg Rd., Athens. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
