Beverly Dunst

Beverly Dunst, 79, was born into eternal life on June 10, 2009 at Marywood Nursing Home .


She was born on December 10, 1929 in Wausau to the late Ervin and Viola (Jirovec) Fell. She married Elwyn “Al” Dunst on November 5, 1955 at First Presbyterian Church, Wausau. Al preceded her in death on September 8, 2004.




Bev was a lifelong resident of Wausau. She graduated from Wausau High School and attended Prospect Hall in Milwaukee. In her earlier years she was a secretary at First Presbyterian Church and Benson Optical. Bev has been a member at First Presbyterian Church since 1942. She enjoyed spending time at their summer home on Somo Lake in Tomahawk. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved going to their school concerts.



Survivors include two sons, Scott (Kay) Dunst of Schofield, Randy (Michelle) Dunst of Harlan, Iowa, three grandchildren, Dan, Andrew, and Jenny Dunst. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Carol Dunst of Wausau, Barb Dunst of Gleason, Sandy (Jerry) Towle of Schofield, and best friends and neighbors, John and Colleen Stillwell of Wausau.



Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Wausau. Reverend Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau and at the church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.



The family would like to thank Hospice and the staff at Marywood for their wonderful care of Mom during her last days. A special thank you to Dale and Dee Spatz and Virginia von Gnechten for all of the love and support for the past 5 years.
