Arthur Preuss

Arthur G. Preuss, 95, Wausau, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Arthur was born September 2, 2016, in Wausau, son of the late Gustave and Linda (Weigelt) Preuss. He received his education in Wausau and was drafted into the United States Army. He served his country during World War II and following his discharge returned to Wausau.
He worked in area factories before taking employment with the United State Postal Service where he was a custodian until his retirement. He married Marie Werba on December 4, 1948 and they lived in Wausau all their married life.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau followed by military rites conducted by the VFW Burns Post #388.
Arthur is survived by two daughters, Linda Bliss of Janesville, Wi AND Kathy (Don) Engmann of Marshfield, WI, five grandchildren Keith (Erica) Kloos, Michelle Bliss, Todd Engman, Tina (Ryan) Keuhn and Tami Engman and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marie on June 14, 1993, three sisters, Ella Chack, Erma Wirt and Arleen Tilkens and two brothers, Ernest and George.
