Agnes Siewert, 92, of Wausau, died Saturday July 4, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Agnes was born September 29, 1916 in Fond Du Lac to the late William and Clara (Boettcher) Peterson. She married Arthur Siewert in Wausau on July 2, 1938. Arthur preceded her in death on June 15, 1976. Agnes was a longtime member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau.
Survivors include two sons; Ken (Alice) Siewert of Wausau, David (Alice) Siewert of Madison, three grandchildren; Darren Siewert, Jennifer (Todd) Schueller, and Kurt (Melissa) Siewert, all of Wausau, five great grandchildren; Paige, Megan, David, Kayla, and Isla, one sister Evelyn Bartsch of Wausau, two sisters-in-law; Joyce and Ann Siewert both of Wausau, and a special friend Elaine Brown of Wausau.
Besides her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by one son Richard and several siblings.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday July 7, 2009 at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. The Reverend Gary Froseth will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
