Staff

At Helke Funeral Home and Cremation Service, we are honored to have earned the trust and confidence placed in us by those that we serve. From the time the first phone call is received, throughout the service and beyond, each staff member at our funeral home contributes in an important way. We are very proud of our staff of caregivers who have been recognized for many years nationally for their excellence in funeral service by the National Funeral Director's Association.

Pursuit of Excellence

Helke Funeral Home and Cremation Service is a proud recipient of the National Funeral Director's Pursuit of Excellence Award.

The Pursuit of Excellence is NFDA's premier program for honoring excellence and unshakable ethical standards in funeral service. Recipient firms are provided high-profile, national recognition for their outstanding service, professional integrity and dynamic public relations programs. The funeral homes are awarded at the annual National Funeral Director's Association Pursuit of Excellence Awards during the NFDA Convention and Expo.

"The Pursuit of Excellence program is the premier standard for funeral service excellence. Funeral homes that achieve this special recognition are raising the bar when it comes to community involvement and providing families with quality care," said NFDA Chief Executive Officer, Christine Pepper.

To achieve recognition in the Pursuit of Excellence Program, a funeral home must meet at least 31 criteria in nine categories of achievement. The categories include: education, compassionate service, technical skills, community and professional service, library or media resources, professional development, in-house staff training, and public and community relations.

Whether choosing burial or cremation, the staff at our funeral home will assist you in creating a personalized service to honor and remember the one you've lost. We are here to help create a service that reflects individual character and contribution. With our combined years of experience and training, we are prepared to help, to reassure, and to understand when a family faces the loss of a loved one. And we will take all of the time needed to explain the options available, allowing a family to make an informed decision.

We pledge to offer respectful and dignified professional service, service that a family should expect, service that a family deserves.
